Auditions, masterclasses, and opportunities to perform.
Each spring, students of AMTA member teachers gather at ETSU's Mathes Music Building for our annual auditions — a chance to perform prepared repertoire for adjudicators and potentially advance to TMTA State Competitions.
AMTA hosts an annual piano masterclass designed to help students prepare for the April Auditions. This year's masterclass is led by Dr. Chia-Ying Chan, an active educator, clinician, and adjudicator who has presented masterclasses throughout the United States and Taiwan and offered webinar series for students and teachers in China. She serves on the piano faculty at Saginaw Valley State University.
How to apply: Teachers entering students must apply by February 21, 2027. Upon confirmation of acceptance, a $25 registration fee is due, with check postmarked no later than February 25, 2027.
